Wits’ Walnut Banana BreadHave bananas that are about to go bad? This recipe is perfect for you!Submitted by: Alex PaulINGREDIENTS1⁄2 cup of butter, melted 1⁄2 cup of white sugar1⁄2 cup of brown sugar 2 eggs1 tsp of vanilla extract 1 tsp of baking soda 1⁄2 tsp of salt1⁄2 tsp of cinnamon1⁄2 cup of sour cream1⁄2 cup of chopped walnuts 2 ripe bananasDIRECTIONS• Preheat oven to 350˚F.• Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.• In a large bowl, stir together the melted butter and sugar. Add the eggsand vanilla, mix well. Combine the flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon tomixture. Stir until smooth.• In a separate, small bowl, combine bananas and sour cream. Mush/stir untilsmooth. Combine with mixture in large bowl. Add walnuts. Pour into loaf pan. • Bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loafcomes out clean.
