Blakey’s Banana BreadSubmitted by: Mel BlakeyINGREDIENTS1 cup of sugar1⁄2 tsbp of brown sugar 1⁄4 cup of melted butter 2 eggs3 ripe bananas1 1⁄2 cup of flour1 tsp of baking sodaDIRECTIONS• Preheat oven to 350˚F and lightly grease loaf pan with butter.• In a large bowl mix together flour and baking soda.• In another bowl beat together 1 egg, sugar and melted butter. Then addbananas and combine until almost smooth.• Stir banana mixture into the flour mixture until combined.• Pour into loaf pan.• In a small bowl mix together 1 egg white and brown sugar and brushover the top of bread.• Bake 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean.This a basic recipe, have fun with it and try these options for additional flavors:1⁄4 cup of oatmeal and 1⁄4 cup of dried cranberries 1⁄3 cup of dark chocolate chips1⁄3 cup of sunflower seedsBREAKFAST, BRUNCH & BREADS17
